Lavazza’s whole coffee bean blends are designed for espresso professionals. They have been developed using our longstanding expertise in selecting coffee blends, and through our constant quest to find the best coffee bean plantations in the world.

We carefully choose the best coffee beans from a mix of international growers to ensure the superior quality of Lavazza coffee. The two main types of coffee beans used in our blends are Arabica and Robusta.

Arabica coffee beans grow best at high altitudes and produce a refined, aromatic flavour; whereas Robusta coffee beans come from a hardier plant, cultivated at lower altitudes and producing a potent flavour with a high caffeine content. Together, these coffee varieties can be expertly mixed to create the full range of sophisticated Lavazza blends.
