THE LAVAZZA TRAINING TEAM

It's always interesting to know who's going to be training you, so we've put up some very short profiles of our training team. Between them, they have a great blend of passion, enthusiasm and training experience. Our training team aren't just classroom based either, they travel extensively in their states, training, listening and advising.

Introducing the team:

HEATHER JAMESON

Training Manager - Victoria

Heather started making coffee in a small Italian cafe in New Zealand. What started as a holiday job during uni has become an unconditional passion. Heather has experience working in high volume cafes in New Zealand and with Tognini's in Brisbane before relocating to Melbourne to immerse herself in coffee culture. She loves passing on the knowledge acquired from almost 10 years in the hospitality industry and finds the Lavazza Training Centre the perfect place to share this knowledge to others. She has a hands on approach to making coffee and believes that using an espresso machine is a lot like learning to drive – once you have the theory behind you, you need to put your knowledge into practice. Heather believes that there is no excuse for a poorly made coffee and is hoping to pass this message on one training class at a time!

  • Cheryl - NSW Training Manager

CHERYL BOSWORTH

Training Manager - NSW

Cheryl’s natural passion for coffee and her extensive experience as a barista in Sydney gives Cheryl an enthusiastic approach to instil confidence on all aspects of espresso making techniques to others. Cheryl’s systematic approach to making perfect espresso is based on techniques developed in busy cafes and this makes her training realistic, hands on and enjoyable. With a wide diversity of cafes, restaurants and corporate customers, Cheryl sums up her approach to training as “The more you understand about coffee, the more you feel comfortable making it”
