Change for better – Local women leaders
Let’s meet Dona Rina, testimonial of the Lavazza Foundation project in Central America
Dona Rina
I’m Dona Rina, a coffee grower in Honduras, and I am one of the almost 85 thousand small coffee producers who participated in the training on good agricultural practices sustained by the Lavazza Foundation to increase resilience to climate change. Thanks to Lavazza, I completely renewed my way to cultivate coffee: I learned how to preserve its quality and protect my plantations in order to ensure their survival.
A coffee you can trust. Lavazza ¡Tierra! certifications
Rainforest alliance
The plantations that receive the RFA certification
are required to comply with standards for
sustainable agriculture that promote
environmental responsibility, social equity and
economic sustainability.
Organic
The organic certification grants that a coffee has
been harvested according to the production
processes described by the European standards
Hand-picked
High-quality coffee: the hand picking allows you to
select only the ripest coffee cherries, which fully
enhance the organoleptic characteristics of the blend
Responsible pack
